Solution:
- Shareable link - visit https://www.dropbox.com/enable_shmodel - to enable that feature.
- Folders - create a new folder on the website called folder1, then rename it to public. Dropbox will handle the rest. Works for the Photos folder as well.
I hid both my Dropbox Public Folder and the Photo folder.
ReplyDeleteI would like to restore them, how do I go about it.
Did you Try Step 2? Are you saying you Deleted them or hid them? Do you see them when you log into the dropbox.com website?
Deletehello,
ReplyDeleteeven when i set a folder1 and rename it to public its semms not to be a reguler public with the globe pic ?
thanks
Did you do this locally or on the Dropbox website at the root of the folder?
DeleteThis doesn't seem to work =/
ReplyDeleteStep #2 only applies to user that created account before AUGUST 2012.
ReplyDeleteNew user creating account AFTER August 2012 have to enable them manually via http://www.dropbox.com/enable_public_folder
Thanks! Was wondering why the instructions above weren't working, haha.
