Change your account password

q: A customer came to us trying to change the password for their account.  When you click Account, in the top toolbar, then settings, you are told (on the left) this is where you would "change your password".  However, there is no password field listed.

a: To actually changed your password, you have to:

  1. Click on Account, in the top toolbar, then Users.
  2. Select your user account by clicking the down arrow next to the name and select "Edit User"
  3. From this screen you can enter your current password, then your new password.
NOTE: Pingdom has FAQ and support pages but none of them seem to mention this.
