q: While trying to install the most recent version of Adobe Reader, we were confronted with an error 1327 referencing a mapped drive letter. The install/upgrade would not continue.
a: We have seen these before on systems using My Document redirection. The immediate and quickest way around this is to use a local account. Log out of the domain account or other account with the problem and simply log in using a different local account and Adobe should have no problem installing.
