Download the 3.6.3 package Synology:

The customer had updated their client from 3.5.3 to 3.6.3 and it stopped backing up to their Synology.
This article walks through updating to 3.6.3 - essentially just download the SPK and selected manual install from package center and it did the rest.
Now the 3.5.3 and 3.6.3 clients all seem to connect and backup to the Synology.
