How to - Sync Multiple calendars to my iPhone Caledar

q: Our customer recently purchased an iPhone 5.  We directed them to the old http://m.google.com/sync site which no longer works.  How can the customer get back to the page that lists all of their devices and lets them configure which Calendars to Sync.

a: We found the link inside a Google forum. You must visit this site on your mobile phone.
https://m.google.com/sync/settings/iconfig/welcome?source=mobileproducts&hl=en

And here's a bit.ly version if you're going to type it in - http://bit.ly/r6Dlo

We found the link on this forum page.

a fatal error occurred while trying to sysprep the machine

q: While running Sysprep.exe on a newly built desktop running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit we encountered this error:  "a fatal error occurred while trying to sysprep the machine"

Classy as always Microsoft with the overtly helpful error message.

We did quite a bit of searching on this one but not until we noticed these three lines in: setuperr.log did our search result in a solution.

a: We modified the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service in two ways then we re-ran sysprep.exe again and it worked.

  1. Stop the Service
  2. Set Startup type: Manual

windows is unable to install to the selected location 0x80300001

q: During the Windows Server 2008 install we received this error message after loading the RAID Drivers...
windows is unable to install to the selected location 0x80300001

a: This is Microsoft's excellent way of telling you, to take out your RAID Driver cd and put the Windows CD back in....dummy.  Couldn't be more clear.
